ADG2188 is an analogue cross point switch with an array size of 8 × 8. The switch array is arranged so that there are eight columns by eight rows, for a total of 64 switch channels. The array is bidirectional, and the rows and columns can be configured as either inputs or outputs. Each of the 64 switches can be addressed and configured through the I²C-compatible interface. Standard, full speed, and high speed (3.4 MHz) I²C interfaces are supported. Any simultaneous switch combination is allowed. Application includes AV switching in TV, automotive infotainment, AV receivers CCTV, ultrasound applications, KVM switching, telecom applications, test equipment/instrumentation, PBX systems.

• Typical on resistance, RON is 30 ohm (−40°C to +85°C, B version, VDD=12V)
• Typical channel off leakage, IOFF is ±0.03μA (VX=7 V/1 V, VY=1 V/7 V)
• Typical −3dB bandwidth is 210MHz (individual inputs to outputs)
• Typical off isolation is -69dB (RL=75 ohm, CL=5pF, f=5MHz)
• Typical differential phase is 0.6° (RL=75 ohm, CL=5pF, f=5MHz)
• Typical differential gain is 0.4% (RL=75ohm, CL=5pF, f=5MHz)
• 32-lead LFCSP package
• Operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
