74VHC123AFT(BJ) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is a CMOS monostable multivibrator fabricated with silicon gate C²MOS technology. There are two trigger inputs, active-low A input (negative edge), and B input (positive edge). These inputs are valid for a slow rise/fall time signal (tr = tf = 1 s) as they are schmitt trigger inputs. This device may also be triggered by using active-low CLR input (positive edge). An input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and two supply systems such as battery back-up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages.

- High noise immunity is VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min)
- Power-down protection is provided on all inputs
- Balanced propagation delay is tPLH≈ tPHL, supply voltage range from 2V to 5.5V
- Pin and function compatible with 74HC123, 74HC221 type
- Quiescent supply current is 4µA max at (VIN = VCC or GND, 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Active-state supply current (per circuit) is 750µA max at (VIN = VCC or GND RX/CX = 0.5VCC)
- Propagation delay time (A, B-Q, active-low Q) is 8.1ns typ at (5.0 ±0.5V, CL =15pF, Ta=25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
