74VHC244FT(BJ) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is an advanced high speed CMOS octal bus buffer fabricated with silicon gate C²MOS technology. It achieve the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It is a non-inverting 3-state buffer, and has two active-low output enables. This devices are designed to be used with 3-state memory address drivers, etc. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and two supply systems such as battery back-up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages. It is pin and function compatible with the 74 series (AC/HC/AHC/LV etc.) 240 or 244 type.
- AEC-Q100 qualified (Rev. H), high noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min)
- Power down protection is provided on all inputs
- Balanced propagation delays: tPLH ≈ tPHL
- Wide operating voltage range from 2V to 5.5V
- Low power dissipation is 4µA (max) at Ta = 25°C
- Input leakage current is ±0.1µA max at (VIN = 5.5V or GND, 0 to 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Propagation delay time is 3.9ns typ at (5.0 ±0.5V, CL = 15pF, Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- Input capacitance is 4pF typ at (Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- High noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, TSSOP20B package
