VINATech

VINATech Co., Ltd., founded in 1999 and based in Jeonju, South Korea, is a global leader in eco-friendly energy storage solutions. Specialising in supercapacitors and hydrogen fuel cell components, VINATech develops high-performance products like EDLCs, hybrid supercapacitors, and fuel cell membranes.

Their Hy-Cap® line is known for long life, high power density, and ultra-low ESR, ideal for automotive, industrial, and IoT applications. VINATech supports diverse sectors, including renewable energy, aerospace, and smart factories.

VINATech also offer conductive polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors and conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, offering high ripple tolerance, large capacitance, and excellent heat resistance. These components are optimised for demanding applications such as automotive displays, data centers, monitors, TVs, and smartphone chargers.

Featured Products

EDLC (Hy-Cap EDLC)

EDLC (Hy-Cap EDLC)Rated voltages of 3.0V and 2.7V, and are suitable for applications requiring high output. Hy-Cap EDLC single cell uses a symmetrical activated carbon electrode and has a lead terminal type and a snap-in terminal type.

Hybrid Supercapacitor (VPC)

Hybrid Supercapacitor (VPC)Hybrid Supercapacitors offer higher voltage and lower self-discharge characteristics. VINATech's VPC significantly reduces ESR with longer life, wider temperature range, and higher discharge current in the same size with cost savings compared to the Pulse Batteries.

Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors VINATech's hybrid capacitor (EneCap™) utilizes a solid electrolyte based on conductive polymer. Thanks to this structure, EneCap™ fundamentally overcomes the chronic issues of liquid electrolyte systems such as high internal resistance, poor low-temperature performance, short lifespan, leakage, and explosion risks.

Conductive Polymer Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Conductive Polymer Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors VINATech's polymer capacitors apply state-of-the-art conductive polymer technology, offering excellent noise reduction and ripple current characteristics while ensuring long-term performance reliability.

Applications

Logistics The in-factory logistics and transportation system for smart factories is operated in various forms such as Rack Master, CSC, and OHT. This logistics system powers the supercapacitor so that it can be operated repeatedly without connecting the power cable It is being used as a source of supply.

Smartgrid An example of the application of supercapacitors in the smart grid and renewable energy fields is the high output support and short cycle, which are the special advantages of supercapacitors. It is being used as a product line that takes advantage of quick response to output patterns and long lifespan.

Mobility This is an example of the application of supercapacitors in various future mobility fields. It is used as a power supply facility to support high output or supply electricity to the battery by charging with 400VDC power. In particular, Hyperloop's high-output power supply facility can also increase charging efficiency through high output and regenerative braking, which are difficult to provide with existing inverters.

Module Customize modules that meet user requirements are used in various fields, especially by combining systems. User convenience is improving.

Military Supercapacitors are in the spotlight in the radiation field, such as high energy output, durability, and maintaining performance in extreme temperature conditions, and overcoming the environment that may occur during military operations and providing optimized performance.
