CY8CKIT-008

CY8CKIT-008 is a CY8C29 family processor module kit designed to evaluate and experiment with Cypress's PSoC 1 programmable system on chip design methodology and architecture. This processor module can be used in conjunction with the PSoC development kit CY8CKIT-001 to create designs utilizing on board DVK resources or compatible expansion boards. PSoC 1 devices are designed to replace multiple traditional MCU based system components with one low cost single chip programmable component. A device includes configurable analog blocks, digital blocks and interconnections. It has 8bit M8C CPU core and flash program memory up to 32KB. The CY8CKIT-001 board is able to separate the I/O VDD rails by giving the flexibility to power the I/O ports at different voltages. This board allows you to plug different PSoC processor modules into the board based upon the desired features of both 8bit and 32bit PSoC devices.
